Advanced gripping solutions are complete gripper systems for specific application areas. The ready-to-go grippers are designed to be installed directly on the robot arm or tool changer. Several mounting interface options, in accordance with ISO-9409-1, are available, making it easy to install on most robot brands. The grippers are made of lightweight materials but still durable. Blow Molding Equipment

PHD offers a range of blow molding equipment for the manufacturing of bottles and other plastic containers. These products are spare component solutions for ‘S’ style and ‘K’ style and other stretch blow molding machines. Standard Series BCS Stretching Cylinders are designed as spare components on model SBO ISMB Series1 and Series2 blow molding machines to provide long service life and reduce maintenance and downtime. Other specialized blow molding equipment include nozzle cylinders, needle cylinders, eject slides, transfer arms, and much more.

End Of Arm Tooling (EOAT)

The EOAT and gripper systems are used to design robotic end-effector tools, ergonomic tools or fixture tools for use on all types of automation equipment. The tooling consists of connecting parts for welded frames or extruded profiles and swivel arm assemblies, grippers with a choice of various “function” attachments. Some function attachments include a vacuum ejector that is based on the latest COAX® technology. Piab provides both round and square EOAT as there are advantages with both options. To maximise the flexibility, our components are modular and adjustable and can be combined into a specific tool from the components. With our great expertise we can also provide tailor made solutions for various applications in the automotive, plastics and food industries.

Ergonomic handling solutions

Ergonomic handling solutions are available to meet the demands of all kinds of applications and can lift almost any type of product; parcels, baggage, sacks/bags, boards, glass, kegs/barrels, bottles, food, stone, windows etc. Depending on its purpose it is available in various number of combinations. Escapements

PHD offers pneumatic escapements ideal for the release of parts from vibratory feeders, hoppers, or part magazines as part feeders. Escapements are available in single rod and double rod configurations and are designed to withstand high side loads, which are typical in such applications. Fab

The Fab division has been started on June 2012 to cater to the fabrication needs of construction and mining equipment sector. Starting out with Dump Truck Body fabrication, the Fab division will soon target customers for chassis frames, buckets and boom fabrication in the short run and fabrication requirement of machine tool sector and oil and gas sector in the long run.

Located in Thirumudivakkam SIDCO (Chennai), the factory is spread over 40000 sft and is well connected by Road, Rail and Air to all major cities in India.

The Fab division has a well developed network of vendors to address its cutting, bending and machining needs. We have a team with rich and varied experience in welding & fabrication. Our strength is rapid development and scale up of new product manufacturing.

Grippers

A wide variety of PHD pneumatic grippers are available for internal and external gripping uses and have various jaw styles to adapt to any application. They range from high-precision miniature sizes to heavy-duty models capable of more than 1600 pounds of grip force. PHD offers angular grippers that open at an angle and parallel grippers that open directly apart. Pneumatic and electric grippers with a wide assortment of options and accessories. Heavy Engineering

The Heavy Engineering Division of Wheels India at Deoli, Wardha, Started on March-2010 and manufactures auto structurals like beams, boxes & columns, auto welded & manually welded from plates & rolled sections, to meet the specific requirements of the customer.

Our factory is located in an area of 30 Acres with a covered area of around 12,000 sq. meters, and is located 15 KM. from the city Wardha. Wardha is well connected by Air, Rail & Road transportation from all the major cities in India, the nearest being Nagpur.

This facility is one of the largest well-integrated workshops of its kind and has facilities for fabrication of heavy auto welded structure.
